Coaching in Schools
Create a coaching culture in your space!
I am passionate about empowering students to develop confidence in themselves, particularly at moments when important decisions can shape their future. Coaching provides a powerful pathway for nurturing self-awareness, strengthening positive communication, and supporting emotional wellbeing. However, meaningful and lasting change occurs most effectively when the entire school community is engaged in the process.
For this reason, I offer coaching for both students and staff, alongside guidance in integrating and embedding a coaching culture across the whole school. Schools that experience the greatest impact are those that focus less on what is done and more on how it is done — cultivating presence, connection, and meaningful communication. Together, we create an environment in which every member of the community feels supported, understood, and inspired to grow.
More BEING and less DOING
Jack Frost: “You teach what you know... but impart who you are.”

Why coaching for students?
Coaching creates an open and creative thinking environment for the student and will help them become more independent thinkers.
Coaching especially supports those who would not normally be on the radar for intervention and support.
Regular sessions for a limited amount of time supports students to realise their full potential.

How does it work?
Usually students have 1:1 sessions, 45 minutes long, scheduled during the school day.
Clustered initially, the sessions will be more and more spaced out to allow for students' growth.
Typically I plan for 6-8 sessions and then termly check-ins. This, however, much depends on the students. Ideally we can set up coaching Pods for the students and encourage them to self-coach.
Supporting the whole school community
Teachers, support staff, and leadership teams are professional communicators. Their ability to build meaningful, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues directly shapes school culture, wellbeing, and learning outcomes. These essential skills must be actively developed, practised, and sustained.
My engaging and practical way of working equip school staff with the tools and confidence to communicate more effectively, listen more deeply, and respond more constructively in everyday situations and challenging conversations.
Drawing on coaching techniques, the psychology of listening, PQ (Positive Intelligence) training, and positive psychology, I provide you with practical strategies that can be applied immediately in the classroom, staffroom, and leadership context.
